Why is my Tzumi LED light remote not working? ›

Check that the remote's battery is installed properly and does not need to be replaced, or that your phone or tablet is securely connected to the light bar via the tzumiLED app. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, and that you have set up the app properly. Restart the process if you're unsure.

To accomplish that, simply long-press the button on the receiver's surface until the diode on it lights up. Next, get the remote close to it and long-press the on/off button until the receiver's light flashes.

Simply download the tzumi Smart Home App to your smartphone, twist in the bulb, and connect.

If your remote control suddenly stops working or your lights start blinking, you may need to reset the controller and pair it back to the receiver unit. The controller sometimes un-pairs itself from the receiver due to a loose connection, radio interference from an external source or a low battery in your remote.

This tiny button can be found on the main control box or on the light strip itself. Once you locate it, all you need to do is press and hold the button for a few seconds until the light flashes. That's it! Your LED strip light is now reset and ready to go.

If your LED light is not working but has power, there may still be an issue with your power supply. If this is the case, it's likely that your power supply is overloaded. If the power supply realises it's been overloaded, it will still turn on but then it'll turn back off again immediately.
